Tree Management consultants in Bhiwandi.
Tree Management in Bhiwandi, on the ground where the work actually is, the warehouse parks along the Mumbai–Nashik highway, the Kamwari river and the dense wards of the old town, with one team on it from the site survey until the survival data says it took.
Why Bhiwandi
The local ground tree management sits on.

- BNCMC Tree Authority · BNCMC Garden Department · MMRDA · Maharashtra Forest Department · MPCB Thane

- The warehouse parks of Kasheli, Kalher, Purna and Val, the old town wards and the Kamwari river

- Developers, contractors, infrastructure and industrial projects
Bhiwandi has lost its green in two ways at once. The old town grew wall to wall around its looms, leaving lanes with barely a tree and few gardens. Out on the highway, farmland and scrub became acres of roofing and truck yards that hold the day's heat long into the evening. Between them run the Kamwari river and the creek edge towards Kasheli. Green work here means putting shade back where people work and live: on ground that floods in July and bakes in April.
Tree work in Bhiwandi splits by jurisdiction. Inside the corporation, applications go to the BNCMC Tree Authority under the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975. On the village land of the warehouse belt, a different route may apply. Old mango, tamarind and banyan trees stand on many of these plots, left from farms and village edges. We number and measure each tree, confirm which authority decides, and assess honestly which can be moved and which are better kept in the layout. The work is carried from our base in the region by named people, start to finish, not passed down a chain.

Every corporation, its own rules. One credible census argues them all.
Local demand
What drives tree management in Bhiwandi.
The second driver is the town itself. The old town is dense and hot, and the corporation, schools and CSR programmes look for any open land that can carry trees: a school ground, a strip along a nala, the edge of a municipal plot. Metro Line 5 from Thane to Bhiwandi and Kalyan is being built through the area, and its alignment meets trees along the way. Along the Kamwari and the creek, native planting can hold banks and give birds a place again. In each case, someone has to keep watering it through the first dry seasons.
Linear projects are bringing trees into question across Bhiwandi. Metro Line 5 runs from Thane through Kasheli and Kalher towards the town, the Samruddhi Mahamarg ends near Bhiwandi at Amane, and the approaches to both change the roads around them. Warehouse parks along these corridors adjust gates and access roads as they do. Since the 2021 amendments to the Trees Act, a tree fifty years or older counts as a heritage tree with heavier compensatory planting: a real cost where old village trees stand on a plot.

- 03/05
Tree Authority NOC
The cutting / transplantation application prepared and pursued through the relevant municipal Tree Authority.
- 04/05
Transplantation
Careful lifting, moving and replanting of feasible trees with root-ball protection.

Straight answers
Tree Management in Bhiwandi: common questions.
01There is an old banyan at the entrance of our plot. Must it go for the new gate?
Not necessarily. A banyan can often be kept by shifting the gate a few metres or splitting the entry lanes around it. Large banyans can be transplanted, but losing most of the canopy sets them back for years. We survey the tree, sketch the options with your architect, and apply to cut or move it only if keeping it genuinely cannot work.
02Our warehouse plot is outside BNCMC limits. Who gives permission to cut a tree?
It depends on where the plot sits. Inside the corporation, the BNCMC Tree Authority decides under the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975. On village land outside it, the urban Act may not apply and felling is regulated under separate state law. We confirm the right authority for the plot before any tree is touched.
03How long does tree management take in Bhiwandi, and who is involved?
BNCMC Tree Authority · BNCMC Garden Department · MMRDA · Maharashtra Forest Department · MPCB Thane are the bodies a Bhiwandi project works with. On timing: census in weeks; NOC by Tree Authority calendar. KIPL sets out a realistic Bhiwandi schedule once the site and the scope have been read, and carries the work through to the outcome, with comparable work on the record such as MCGM GARDEN DEVELOPMENT- MIYAWAKI PLANTATION.
