What it is
MPCB Consent, without the guesswork.
Almost every industrial and commercial project in Maharashtra needs consent from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board: a Consent to Establish before construction and a Consent to Operate before it runs, both pivoting on the project's Red, Orange, Green or White category under the CPCB classification.
KIPL handles the full MPCB consent cycle: category assessment, the CTE and CTO applications, renewals, the annual Form-V environmental statement, and the self-audit reporting that keeps a consent defensible. It is high-frequency, deadline-driven work, and the discipline that keeps a plant legal.

The process
How the file moves.
You see the whole route on day one; then one accountable team holds it, stage after stage.
Category assessment
The Red/Orange/Green/White classification that sets the pollution potential and the consent conditions.
Consent to Establish
The CTE application and documentation, before a brick is laid.
Consent to Operate
The CTO application, filed before commissioning against the built reality.
Renewal & returns
Timely renewals, the Form-V environmental statement and self-audit reports, year after year.
MPCB Consent
A consent is not a one-time permission. It is a calendar, and someone whose job is to file on it.

Straight answers
MPCB Consent: the questions clients ask first.
01What is the difference between CTE and CTO?
Consent to Establish (CTE) is the MPCB's permission to set up a unit, obtained before construction; Consent to Operate (CTO) is permission to run it, obtained before commissioning. Both are required, in sequence, and both must be renewed.
02How is my MPCB category decided?
By the CPCB's Red / Orange / Green / White classification, which ranks industries by pollution potential. The category drives the consent conditions, the validity period and the fee. We assess it first, because everything else follows from it.
03What is a Form-V environmental statement?
An annual environmental statement that consented units must file with the MPCB, reporting water and raw-material consumption, waste generated and pollution-control performance for the year ending 31 March. It is due by 30 September and is part of keeping a consent in good standing.
04Do EC and MPCB consent overlap?
They are separate regimes. Environment Clearance comes from the SEIAA/MoEF&CC under the EIA Notification; MPCB consent comes from the state board and applies far more widely. Many projects need both, in sequence. We screen for both up front.

Who we do this for
The same filing reads differently by industry.
What mpcb consent demands of a data centre is not what it demands of a distillery. These set out the item code, the conditions that bite and the evidence each sector is asked for.
