Mining
Mining & Minerals
We have delivered real EIA work on major and minor mineral projects. We also state, plainly, what our accreditation does and does not cover here. Honesty on the certificate is part of the service.

How we work this market
Real mining work, and a certificate stated honestly.
One accredited team carries the work from the first assessment to the compliance report years later, so responsibility never changes hands at the gate that matters.

The brief
What this market actually asks of an environmental partner.
Mining and mineral extraction fall under item 1(a) of the EIA Notification 2006, one of the most contested categories in Indian environmental appraisal, covering everything from major mineral leases to minor mineral sand ghats. The work demands baseline rigour, a defensible mine plan and a credible reclamation and community strategy.
KIPL has delivered EIA work in this space, including the GMDC Goniasar, Kawatha manganese and sand-ghat mandates, coordinated by a NABET-approved mining Project Coordinator. We hold the boundary clearly: the organisation's QCI-NABET certificate does not cover item 1(a), so this is stated as project experience, not organisational accreditation, and the NABET mining badge is never displayed on this work. That distinction is deliberate, and it is how we keep the trust the rest of the certificate earns.
Why the file bites
The drivers that decide this market, layer by layer.
Mining & mineral EC
Major and minor mineral projects are a high-scrutiny EIA category with intense baseline and community demands.
Coordinated by an approved specialist
The delivered work is led by a NABET-approved mining Project Coordinator with sector experience.
The disclosure is mandatory
The organisation is not accredited for 1(a); this is project experience, stated as such, with no badge.
A note on accreditation
Delivered EIA work on major and minor mineral projects. Coordinated by a NABET-approved mining Project Coordinator; the organisation's certificate does not cover 1(a).

Straight answers
Mining & Minerals, answered.
Is KIPL accredited for mining EIA?
No. KIPL has delivered EIA work on major and minor mineral projects, coordinated by a NABET-approved mining Project Coordinator, but the organisation's QCI-NABET certificate does not cover item 1(a). We present this as project experience, not organisational accreditation, and we do not display the NABET badge on mining work.
What mining projects has KIPL worked on?
Delivered mandates include the GMDC Goniasar project, the Kawatha manganese project and sand-ghat assessments, spanning major and minor minerals.
Why state the accreditation limit so openly?
Because overstating accreditation is the fastest way to lose the trust the rest of the certificate earns. On the sectors where we are accredited, we say so and show the badge; on mining, we are precise about the difference.
