What it is
Tree Management, without the guesswork.
In Maharashtra, you cannot fell or shift a tree on a development site on your own authority. The Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act 1975 puts that decision with a municipal Tree Authority, and every corporation runs its own process. KIPL handles the whole sequence: a defensible tree census, the NOC application, and, where trees can be saved, transplantation with the survival compliance that follows.
The work turns on a credible enumeration: each tree numbered, measured and identified, because the Tree Authority's decision and any compensatory planting are argued from that count. Where a tree can be moved rather than removed, we assess transplant feasibility honestly, execute the transplant, and monitor post-transplant survival: the condition the authority attaches, and the difference between a permission and a green-washed felling.

The process
How the file moves.
You see the whole route on day one; then one accountable team holds it, stage after stage.
Tree enumeration & census
Every tree on site numbered, measured and identified, the defensible count the whole application rests on.
Transplant feasibility
An honest assessment of which trees can be saved by transplantation rather than felled.
Tree Authority NOC
The cutting / transplantation application prepared and pursued through the relevant municipal Tree Authority.
Transplantation
Careful lifting, moving and replanting of feasible trees with root-ball protection.
Post-transplant survival
Monitoring and the survival compliance the authority requires after a transplant.
Tree Management
Every corporation, its own rules. One credible census argues them all.
Why KIPL
Credentials you can check.
A firm that sells regulatory compliance has to be beyond reproach on its own. Every credential below is verifiable, and every figure traces to a document.

Straight answers
Tree Management: the questions clients ask first.
01Do I need permission to cut a tree in Maharashtra?
Yes. Under the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act 1975, felling or transplanting trees in a notified urban area needs the permission of the local Tree Authority. Cutting without an NOC is an offence, and permission usually comes with compensatory planting or transplantation conditions.
02What is a tree census and why does it matter?
A tree census is a numbered, measured inventory of every tree on the site, with species and girth. It is the factual basis on which the Tree Authority decides the application and sets compensatory planting, so a weak or disputed census is where these applications stall.
03Can mature trees be transplanted instead of cut?
Often, yes: many trees can be lifted with their root ball and replanted, and authorities increasingly prefer it. Feasibility depends on the species, size and health; we assess it honestly rather than promising every tree can be saved, and monitor survival afterward.
04Does every municipality follow the same process?
The Act is state-wide, but each municipal corporation's Tree Authority runs its own procedure, fees and timelines. Knowing the specific corporation's process is much of the work, which is why local familiarity matters.

Who we do this for
The same filing reads differently by industry.
What tree management demands of a data centre is not what it demands of a distillery. These set out the item code, the conditions that bite and the evidence each sector is asked for.
