Extended Producer Responsibility consultants in Noida.
Extended Producer Responsibility in Noida, on the ground where the work actually is, the planned sectors of Noida and Greater Noida, their electronics plants and data centres, and the YEIDA corridor toward Jewar, carried by one accredited team, from the first baseline to the signed-off report.
Why Noida
The local ground extended producer responsibility sits on.
- Decided with
- UPPCB · SEIAA Uttar Pradesh · Noida Authority, Greater Noida Authority and YEIDA · SEBI (BRSR) · CPCB (EPR)
- Local ground
- The Sector 63 and Noida Phase II industrial belts, Greater Noida's Ecotech zones, the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway office sectors and the YEIDA sectors toward Jewar
- Typically for
- Producers, importers, brand owners & recyclers
Noida's advisory work starts from an unusual fact: the city has no municipal corporation, and industrial development authorities run it instead. The Noida Authority, the Greater Noida Authority and YEIDA each plan, allot and regulate their own sectors. Within those sectors sit some of India's largest mobile-phone and electronics plants, a growing cluster of data centres, the IT offices along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and the high-rise housing of Greater Noida West. Further south, YEIDA is laying out a new industrial corridor around the airport at Jewar. All of it answers to UPPCB.
Noida carries some of the heaviest EPR loads in the country, because so many phones, televisions, appliances and batteries are made here. Makers and importers hold e-waste and battery registrations on CPCB's portals, and their targets scale with national sales. Contract manufacturers that assemble for several brands must settle who the producer is for each product. Plastic packaging (trays, films, foam) adds a separate obligation. In e-waste, a genuine certificate means checking the recycler as well as the paper it issues. The team travels from its base in Navi Mumbai and stays named on the work, start to finish, not passed down a chain.

If your product becomes waste, the law now follows it there. EPR is where you account for that.
Local demand
What drives extended producer responsibility in Noida.
Electronics set much of the demand. Samsung's phone factory in Sector 81 was followed by dozens of mobile, component and appliance makers across Noida and Greater Noida, many drawn by the national production-linked incentive schemes. They place electronics and batteries on the market, run clean rooms and surface-mount lines, handle solder, chemicals and solvents, and answer to global buyers who audit them. E-waste EPR, hazardous-waste authorisation and supplier ESG questionnaires tend to arrive together: often at firms whose environmental team is one person.
Production-linked incentives have made Noida a centre of phone and electronics assembly, and every device made here carries an EPR share. As e-waste targets rise each year, and battery obligations reach the cells inside every handset, producers must secure more certificates from registered recyclers. Brand owners who contract manufacturing in Noida, and importers of components and finished goods, each need to know exactly which obligations are theirs and which sit with the assembler.

Straight answers
Extended Producer Responsibility in Noida: common questions.
01We assemble phones in Noida for another brand. Do we carry the EPR obligation?
Usually the brand owner does, the company whose brand the handset carries and who places it on the market. But the contract should say so plainly, and if some output carries your own label, or you bring in parts from abroad, you may carry obligations of your own. We read the contracts and sales channels against the e-waste and battery regimes before registering anything.
02Our electronics unit in Sector 63 handles solder and chemicals. What must it hold?
Usually an operating consent from UPPCB, a hazardous-waste authorisation (spent chemicals, solder dross, contaminated containers), and EPR registration if you import electronics or batteries, or sell them under your own brand. Annual returns follow each. We check the process against each rule, so nothing is missed on a floor where product lines change often.
03How long does extended producer responsibility take in Noida, and who is involved?
UPPCB · SEIAA Uttar Pradesh · Noida Authority, Greater Noida Authority and YEIDA · SEBI (BRSR) · CPCB (EPR) are the bodies a Noida project works with. On timing: registration weeks; returns annual. KIPL sets out a realistic Noida schedule once the site and the scope have been read, and carries the work through to the outcome, with comparable work on the record such as EIA for Synthetic Organic Chemical Industry.
