ESG, BRSR & Carbon Reporting
A disclosure is only as good as the site data underneath it, and most of that data sits with people whose day job is production, not reporting.

How we work this market
Disclosure that reconciles to the compliance record underneath it.
One accredited team carries the work from the first assessment to the compliance report years later, so responsibility never changes hands at the gate that matters.

The brief
What this market actually asks of an environmental partner.
Reporting frameworks arrived faster than the reporting lines beneath them. A listed parent commits to BRSR, a multinational commits to a group standard, and both find the same gap: the numbers live at the sites, in formats nobody agreed on, assembled once a year by whoever is free.
KIPL builds the disclosure from the site upward. Materiality that reflects what the business actually does, carbon accounting worked from metered consumption rather than estimates, and BRSR, GRI and CDP reporting that reconciles to the consent and returns record rather than contradicting it. Where the request has come down a supply chain, suppliers are told what is being asked and why, because data collected without that rarely survives assurance.
Why the file bites
The drivers that decide this market, layer by layer.
SEBI made it mandatory
Listed entities report on a prescribed format, and the assurance behind it tests whether a number can be traced back to a meter or a manifest.
The group standard is not the Indian one
A multinational parent reports on its own framework, so Indian sites have to produce data that reconciles both upward and to the regulator.
The request now reaches suppliers
Value-chain data requests land on companies that are not listed themselves and have no reporting function to answer them.
What we handle here
The filings and works this market needs, under one team.
Straight answers
ESG, BRSR & Carbon Reporting, answered.
Who has to file a BRSR?
SEBI requires the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report from the top listed entities by market capitalisation, on a prescribed format. Unlisted companies increasingly produce the same data because a listed customer or a foreign parent has asked for it.
How is this different from the multi-site compliance work?
Multi-site compliance keeps the consents, returns and registers current across a group's sites. This is the disclosure layer above that record: materiality, carbon accounting and the reports the parent publishes. The compliance record is what the disclosure has to reconcile to, so most groups need both.
Can carbon accounting be done without site-level metering?
It can be estimated, but estimates are the first thing an assurance provider challenges. We work from metered consumption, fuel and purchase records where they exist, and identify what needs to be metered where they do not.
