CSR / CER Advisory in Madhya Pradesh, on the ground where the work actually is, Singrauli's pits and power stations, the factory estates from Pithampur to Malanpur, and the limestone country of Satna and Katni, carried by one accredited team, from the first baseline to the signed-off report.

Advisory work in Madhya Pradesh spans a state where industry sits in pockets among forest and farmland. Singrauli in the east holds open-cast coal mines and thermal power stations that light much of northern India. Cement plants cluster around Satna, Katni and Damoh on the Vindhyan limestone. Mandideep, just outside Bhopal, holds textile, food and engineering units; Pithampur holds vehicle and pharmaceutical makers; Jabalpur has ordnance factories and a growing industrial area; Gwalior and Malanpur hold older plants in the north. Between these pockets stretch whole districts that are mostly forest, with barely a chimney in them.
Community programmes in this state often reach Adivasi villages beside mines, forests and power stations. The need is basic: drinking water, schools, health, livelihoods from forest produce. DMF money and clearance commitments both flow to the villages that mining affects. Projects that restore village tanks, build recharge structures, support forest-produce livelihoods or equip schools can be measured and handed to the gram sabha to maintain. The team travels from its base in Navi Mumbai and stays named on the work, start to finish, not passed down a chain.

CER isn't a cheque to the community. It's a project in the community, and the plan decides whether it lands.
Local demand
What drives csr / cer advisory in Madhya Pradesh.
Heavy industry supplies one strand of the work. Collieries, thermal stations and cement works carry large clearances with long lists of conditions (fly ash use, dust, water, green belt, rehabilitation) and six-monthly reports to prove them. Singrauli has been assessed as critically polluted, and its fly ash ponds have breached more than once, sending slurry into farms and streams. Mineral districts across the east hold district mineral foundation funds meant for affected villages. Each of these obligations needs someone to read the conditions and keep the record.
Mining and power companies carry the largest community commitments in Madhya Pradesh. Permits oblige spending on affected hamlets, and DMF trusts add more. The villages near mines and forests are often tribal, with needs in water, schooling, health and livelihoods. Projects work best when designed with the gram sabha and built on what villages already do.

Straight answers
CSR / CER Advisory in Madhya Pradesh: common questions.
01Our mine owes community work to tribal villages nearby. What projects last?
Water works the village can run itself (tanks, check dams, wells) and help with forest-produce income from mahua, tendu leaf and lac. Taps and toilets for schools follow. The gram sabha is consulted first and agrees who will own and maintain each asset; results are reported in litres stored and families served.
02Our cement plant's clearance has dozens of conditions. How do we keep track of them?
By folding the clearance, the consent and every amendment into a single register: each condition, what evidence it needs, who is responsible and when it falls due. Six-monthly compliance reports then draw on that register rather than being assembled afresh each time. We build it once, check it against the plant's practice, and keep it current as conditions change.
03How long does csr / cer advisory take in Madhya Pradesh, and who is involved?
MPPCB · SEIAA Madhya Pradesh · MPIDC · Forest Department (forest diversion) · CPCB (EPR) · SEBI (BRSR) are the bodies a Madhya Pradesh project works with. On timing: across construction & early operation. KIPL sets out a realistic Madhya Pradesh schedule once the site and the scope have been read, and carries the work through to the outcome, with comparable work on the record such as MCGM GARDEN DEVELOPMENT- MIYAWAKI PLANTATION.
