The brief
A refinery complex at Jamnagar is a hard place to establish planting: saline ground, high heat and an industrial setting that gives vegetation none of the shelter it would find in a city. Green zone at this scale is as much a maintenance commitment as a planting one.
The mandate covered 120 acres across multiple sites, and within it a Miyawaki component of roughly 80,000 plants across 24,000 m²: dense, multi-layer, multi-species planting that establishes faster than conventional avenue work and holds together once it does.
