At Owe, a construction site sits below the hill and above the village. Runoff from the slope crosses the site, and whatever the site loses (soil, cement slurry, debris) goes downhill into village lanes and streams. The plan here puts drainage first: catch drains above the site, silt traps below it, and no dumping on the slopes. Blasting or rock breaking needs limits agreed with the village in mind, and trucks need a route that avoids its narrow lanes.
Owe is an older village at Kharghar's outer edge, where the node's sectors meet the hills. Its houses and lanes remain, but the fields and open land around it are being taken up by new sectors and residential towers. Above the village, a small dam holds a lake in a fold between the hills, and in the monsoon streams run down past the settlement towards the node. The ground here is steeper and more broken than in central Kharghar. It is still one of the node's quieter corners, but building has been moving steadily towards it.

Environment Management & Mitigation Plan in Owe: common questions.
01The village says our site sends mud into their lane every rain. What should we change?
Find where the site water goes and give it a safe route. Usually that means a drain around the site, a settling pit before the outlet, and covering bare soil before the rains. Clearing the mud already deposited and telling the village what has been done matters too. We survey and set out the fixes.
02How long does environment management & mitigation plan take in Owe?
On timing: prepared at EIA; implemented for project life. A realistic Owe schedule is set once the site and the scope have been read, and the work is carried through to the outcome by the same named people.
