- Any project with EC or consent EMP conditions
A construction site in CBD Kharghar shares its road with shoppers, patients and commuters, and its neighbours are open for business all day. The plan must limit what escapes the site (dust, noise, trucks, slurry from piling) more tightly than on an open plot. We set delivery times outside the station's rush hours, keep noisy work to agreed hours, cover stockpiles and trucks, and route surface water through a settling tank so piling slurry does not reach the storm drain.
CBD Kharghar is the node's commercial centre, centred on the railway station, with the road leading in off the Sion–Panvel highway as its spine. CIDCO planned it as the place where Kharghar would shop, work and meet, and it has filled with office blocks, malls, hotels, wedding halls, hospitals and commercial towers with flats above. Coaching classes and eateries line the streets near the station, and footfall runs from early morning commuters to late diners. Plots here were sold for dense use and built accordingly. The area keeps adding floor space as older commercial buildings are extended or replaced and new towers rise on the remaining plots.

Environment Management & Mitigation Plan in CBD Kharghar: common questions.
01Our site in CBD Kharghar is next to a hospital. What extra care does the EMP need?
Tighter noise and dust limits on the hospital side, with monitoring at the boundary. Heavy work kept to agreed hours, no idling trucks by its gates, and a direct line to the hospital's facility manager. Vibration from piling needs watching too. All of this goes into the plan, with boundary monitors to check it.

On timing: prepared at EIA; implemented for project life. A realistic CBD Kharghar schedule is set once the site and the scope have been read, and the work is carried through to the outcome by the same named people.
