In Titwala an STP may be a layout's only form of sewage treatment for years, until the municipal network reaches it. That makes reliability matter more than elegance. We favour plants that a local operator can run (robust aeration, straightforward controls, spares that can be bought nearby) sized for a building that fills slowly after possession. Treated water goes to flushing and gardens, and we plan where the rest will go in the monsoon, when irrigation stops.

Titwala lies at the northern edge of KDMC, a few stations beyond Kalyan on the line towards Kasara.
