Whether a Val warehouse needs its own MPCB consent depends on what happens inside it. A shed storing packaged consumer goods raises few questions; one holding chemicals, running a cold chain on large compressors and generators, or repacking and relabelling on a line is a different matter. Parks often hold a consent for common services while tenants run activities it never described. We look at each tenant's operation, decide whose consent should cover it, and file accordingly.
Val is one of the villages near the Mumbai–Nashik highway that has been absorbed into Bhiwandi's warehousing belt. Where there were once paddy fields, grazing land and low hills, there are now logistics parks of long, high sheds with wide truck yards and rows of loading docks, many let to online retailers, consumer brands and third-party logistics firms. Most parks went up in stages over roughly the past fifteen years, and new ones are still under construction. Village houses, temples and small farm plots survive in the gaps between them, and heavy vehicles use the approach roads at every hour.

MPCB Consent in Val: common questions.
01Does a warehouse in Bhiwandi need consent from MPCB?
The answer lies in the goods stored and handled, and on generators, wastewater and any processing on site. Plain storage of packaged goods often sits in a low category or needs little, while storing hazardous chemicals brings more. We look at the actual use of the shed and advise which consent, if any, applies and who should hold it.
02How long does mpcb consent take in Val?
On timing: cTE weeks to months; CTO before commissioning. A realistic Val schedule is set once the site and the scope have been read, and the work is carried through to the outcome by the same named people.
