Why Chikhloli
The ground this work sits on here.
- Area

- Typically for
- Developers, contractors, infrastructure and industrial projects
Land sold for housing in Chikhloli often holds old trees: mango, jamun, banyan and others along field edges and village paths. Within municipal limits they are protected, and cutting one down needs a permit from the Tree Authority. We survey and assess each tree while the layout can still change, so buildings can sit around the best of them, and handle applications, moves and replacement planting for any that cannot stay.
Chikhloli lies on the Badlapur side of Ambernath, where the town meets wooded hills. A small reservoir here has long supplied part of Ambernath's water, and the hills around it hold forest, streams and grassland. Most of the ground between the hills and the railway has been sold for housing, and apartment blocks now occupy former fields and farmhouse plots. A new railway station between Ambernath and Badlapur is planned here, and the prospect is drawing more building. Chikhloli is turning, quite quickly, from the edge of a village into a suburb.

Tree Management in Chikhloli: common questions.
01Can we cut trees before we apply for building permission?
No. Felling is a separate permission, and cutting in advance can bring penalties and complicate the approval of your plans. We survey the trees first and apply alongside the building proposal, so both move together and the layout can be adjusted if a significant tree is better kept.
02How long does tree management take in Chikhloli?
On timing: census in weeks; NOC by Tree Authority calendar. A realistic Chikhloli schedule is set once the site and the scope have been read, and the work is carried through to the outcome by the same named people.
