Sustainable Infrastructure & Project Delivery

Five kilometres of water supply infrastructure for the Nuclear Power Corporation of India in Gujarat: intake well, pipeline and pumping works for the project.

The brief

Water supply is a chain, and it is only as good as its weakest link: an intake that silts, a main that leaks, or a pump sized for a head it does not actually face will each defeat the rest of the system.

Work on a nuclear power site is carried out inside that site's own access, documentation and inspection regime, which governs the sequence as much as the engineering does.
