A functional playground for Sectors 11 and 12 at Kalamboli: cricket nets, lawn areas and a compound wall, with the site infrastructure a public ground needs to stay safe, accessible and usable.
The brief
A neighbourhood ground is used hardest by the people least likely to complain about it, so the things that matter are the unglamorous ones: a boundary that holds, a surface that drains, and provision that can take daily use.
The mandate was a functional playground with cricket nets, lawn areas and a compound wall, supported by the site infrastructure required to make it work: planned around safety, accessibility and the amenities community use actually needs.
