The brief
A sewage plant inside a residential development has a constraint an industrial one does not: the people it serves live beside it. Odour, noise and footprint are design inputs, and the quality of the treated water matters because it is reused on the same site, in the flush lines and on the landscape.
At 360 KLD this is the largest plant in the portfolio, and it is built on Micro Filtration: a physical barrier after biological treatment, which is what makes the output consistent enough to reuse without the operator watching it hour by hour.
