A 100 kg/day organic waste converter in MS powder-coated steel for Arham Developers at Kharghar, processing the development's biodegradable waste where it is produced: the same site also runs a 100 KLD MBBR sewage plant.
The brief
Biodegradable waste leaving a development is a collection problem, a transport cost and, at the far end of it, landfill. Processing it on site removes all three. The unit here is sized at 100 kg/day, which is what the development generates.
The unit is built in MS powder-coated steel. Powder coating over mild steel is the standard build for this duty: it holds up to a wet, warm plant room at a cost that suits a single development.
The same development also carries a 100 KLD MBBR sewage plant, so both its sewage and its solid organic waste are dealt with on site.
